Sorry we have not written before now but we have had a busy week. Edith and the children continue on with the home schooling and Paul has been trying to complete the January and February figures with may interruptions so has not progressed as far as he hoped. It was also wages week and we had to go and visit the Revenue Authority for a meeting as well.
We found out last week a very dear friend of our for many years passed away. Uncle Tom was a farmer who had put some land aside to use for camps, Paul used to go when he was young, so that shows how long ago it was. He was a wonderful person with a heart of gold and he will be missed by many. Please pray for Auntie Helen and the family at this time of lose.
Please also pray for another friend Martyn who Paul used to work with, he has been suffering from cancer and was when we last heard in Pilgrims Hospice in Ashford as he was not doing so well, his family are hoping to take him home and it seems certain that he will die sooner rather than later, unless the Lord intervenes. Please pray for his wife Verna and their young son Harry as they cope with the situation, they are a lovely family.
These are the times when it is so hard to be so far away and not be able to be with people in difficult times.
Thanks for your prayers and support, we do appreciate it though at times we forget to show it.
God Bless love from us all.

A wet weekend
Hi greetings from a wet Dodoma, this weekend we have had a fair amount of rain which is good news for the people with crops. It will not be much longer before the rains will stop until around November time.
John-Luke had a wonderful birthday and party last Monday which he enjoyed a lot.
We had some computer problems as well last week when the home computer went wrong and it was found to be that the hard disk had crashed so that had to be replaced.
This coming week Edith and the children will be carrying on with School. John-Luke is really picking up with his reading now so this is encouraging. He is also fairly good with Maths as well.
This week Paul is continuing on with the January and February work for Tanzania and hope to complete the February work for Mongolia. Last week he had a fair amount of time in the office on his own as Cecilia is off on Maternity leave and Frank had some exams, this week it should only be Tuesday on his own whist Frank does his last exam. Please pray that he will be able to keep to his plan for the next two weeks which could then bring him fairly well up to date. We are also looking at recruiting another member of finance staff who will be working particularly in invoicing working with a number of other departments to try an give a more efficient service from all sides.
That you again for your prayers and support.

Back in Dodoma
Dear All
We are back in Dodoma after a week of holiday in Dar es Salaam. The visit to the Dar office the week before went well and we managed to make some good progress on a new system/spreadsheet for one part of the Dar office work to make things easier.
The Holiday was a great break for us us all and we managed to have some great family time together, including a day on the beach and a dip in the Indian ocean, it was as warm as a bath. We also managed to look around the area including a couple of houses and the school where John-Luke might go if we move to Dar es Salaam as we were staying in the area where we may live. We managed to make an early start on Saturday and were back in Dodoma around 2pm.
Tomorrow is John-Luke's 6th Birthday so he will have a party in the afternoon with some friends here at the house.
Please pray for us this week as Paul gets back into the work he is now far behind with both January and February work. Also as Edith restarts school though John-Luke did do some work whilst we were away.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
