This was John-Luke's first week at School and he enjoyed it. Edith and Gabriella continued to do the unpacking but had to fight with many power cuts.It started Monday evening with the power going off at around 6.30pm and returning at 11pm but only for a short period and somewhere between 1 & 2am it went off and we did not have any further power until about midnight Tuesday. We then were off again Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. The next cut was at 8am Wednesday morning and we then did not have any power until 3.30am on Friday.
Paul continued to go into the Dar office each day, this week he started to leave the house at 5.30am this meant that he managed to get into the office just after 6am, whereas the week before we would leave at 6am and arrive between 7am & 7.30am. Paul has today travelled back up to Dodoma and will be there for the next week to try and work with the other managers to get the budget for 2012 prepared. He also hopes to finish the June and July work as well as do the Wages and two VAT returns.
Please pray for Edith and the children on there own in Dar es Salaam and Paul that he will be able to complete all he needs to over the coming week. Paul will travel back if all is well next Saturday.
Thank you for your prayers and support.

Now in Dar
We have now been in Dar for just over a week now. We travelled down on Friday along with a pickup truck with our beds, dinning room table, chairs and lounge seats. The rest of our things arrived on Saturday after the truck had a hard journey taking some 27 hours to come. The truck had a puncture and then after replacing the wheel they had a second puncture so not having another spare they had to get repairs which were not possible where the truck was. So the wheels had to go back to Dodoma for repair, after twelve hours they were able to start again. They hoped to reach Morogoro for the night but had another puncture so arrived in Morogoro at 3am had an hours sleep and then continued arriving at our place at about 8.30am.
We are now in the house but there is plenty of unpacking still to do.
We have been to the school and managed to get John-Luke's uniform for next week and Paul has been in the Dar office since Tuesday and having 'fun' in the traffic. The trip into the office this week (20km) but it took between 40 minutes to 1.5 hours to do the trip. Edith has been busy sorting the house out.
Thanks for your prayers and support through this busy period.
God Bless and love form us all.
Paul, Edith, John-Luke & Gabriella

Moving Week
Dear All
This week we are due to move house from Dodoma to Dar es Salaam. Today we have almost completely packed the lorry which will be taking our things to Dar and we now have the last things to sort out and decide how we get them there.
Paul will be working the next three days and then on Friday we will drive to Dar with the lorry which will be driven by Allan Conrad a retired MAF Tanzania international staff member, who has remained here in Tanzania.
Please pray that all will go well with the move and that we will all be kept safe as we travel and that we will settle into the new place quickly.
God Bless and thanks for your prayers and support.

Back in Dodoma
Dear All
We arrived safely in Dar es Salaam from the UK on Tuesday morning. we then stayed in Dar for the Day to look at some properties two were possible houses that could be combined as an office as well. Then the last was the house we expect to move into later this month. The plan is to move from Dodoma on Saturday 13 August, this will then give a week to settle before school starts for John-Luke. Gabriella will have another year of home schooling with Edith.
We traveled back to Dodoma on Wednesday.
Edith is busy packing up the rest of the house we hope that most will be packed by Saturday when we hope to load it on a truck, we will then live in another house until the next Saturday when we hope to travel with the things to Dar.
Paul is trying to now catch up with all the work he missed and about 600 emails to sort through in one account and another 200 on the other. Paul will be working on June and July figures over the next couple of weeks, it would be good to have them finished before the move, but it will be good going if he does manage this.
Please pray for us over this busy period and for us to settle into life in Dar very quickly. We will try and keep you up to date with the news as it happens.
