Sorry for the lack of news

Dear All

Sorry for the lack of news over the last few weeks let us tell you what has been happening.

Edith has been continuing to help at the school in John-Luke's class each week and also doing her voluntary work at the Nuru centre. John-Luke finished the term on Friday as well as Gabriella home schooling.

John-Luke and Gabriella were in last Sundays Christmas service, the Sunday school acted out the Christmas story. John-Luke was a shepherd and Gabriella was an angel.

The office move happened on the 29 November and Paul was able to move to his new office around midday on the 30 November.

Paul then travelled to Dodoma last weekend but was unfortunately involved in an accident. We thank God that he was not hurt though the car was badly damaged but drivable. He had to then spend a number of hours on Monday with two of the national staff at the Dodoma police station to get a report from them to help with the insurance. Paul was due to stay up in Dodoma until this weekend but on Tuesday night he had a call from his parents to say that his friend Andy was not doing so well (he has been suffering from Cancer for he past four years). It was decided that he would travel to England as soon as possible to see him. Therefore on Wednesday morning after the car was patched up so rain would not come in as three of the windows were gone Paul traveled with Andrew one of our pilots back down to Dar es Salaam. Andrew was able to get one of our flights back the next day. Paul was very thankful to have Andrew's company on the trip back to Dar as well as the help driving the 450km. Paul was then able to get a flight out Thursday afternoon to the UK.

The original flight connection was due to arrive in England about midday Friday. We thank the Lord that though there was originally an over booking on an earlier connecting flight Paul was able to get his flight changed and arrived in the UK about 7am Friday morning. Paul's brother Mark was able to pick him up and took him to the hospice where Andy was. We can only thank the Lord for his timing in all of this as Andy went to be with his Lord in Glory at 5.35 Friday afternoon. Please pray for Andy's wife Jean and his family & friends as we all deal with this lose.

Please pray for Edith and the children who are on their own in Tanzania whist Paul is away and that all will go well. We hope to be all together again, God willing, on Christmas Eve.

Thank you for your prayers and support for us all over this very busy and hectic year, they have been much appreciated and much needed.

May we all remember that Jesus is the reason for the season and that Christmas is about the birth of our Lord and Saviour whatever anyone wants to say it will not change the facts.

God Bless and Happy Christmas to all with love from Paul, Edith, John-Luke & Gabriella.
