The coming week

Today is the start of Tsagaan Sar here in Mongolia, that is the New Lunar Year this year is the year of the Tiger, so Monday and Tuesday are national holidays. Last week we were able to do one flight for a mining company but are next flights are currently booked in March with a flight for the Baptist Church and another for a grouped connected to a local church here who work with handicapped children bringing them in from the country and training the parents and children to do some therapy they also through this work have chance to bring them the Gospel.

At the end of this week on Friday evening I (Paul) leave the family here in Mongolia as I go to some meetings with other MAF managers in Turkey, this time it is a group from around the Eurasia area with who I have not met before so I am looking forward to a good time of fellowship and teaching together as well as learning more about MAF's work in other countries in this region. I will have chance to meet with Tim Strauss, the regional director, to talk more about a project we have given to MAF to set up a pilot training school here in Mongolia. I will also meet with Tom and Diane Mason, Tom will be replacing me here in Mongolia as we move to Tanzania.

Please pray for the family whist I am away and for me for safe travel and profitable meetings. I leave on the 19th February and arrive back on 2nd March.

Before I leave I also need to complete a couple of project proposals that need some funds, one is for training a Mongolian to become a pilot and another is to help support the group working with the Handicap children as they do not have the funds even at our discounted rate to fly to all the places we go to so we are looking for some additional funds for four extra flights this year.

Well thanks for all your prayers and support. God Bless you all
