Dear Family and Friends
School has now closed and the children and Edith are home preparing for Christmas and the New Year, we have the decorations up. Paul will be working on Monday as we need to pay salaries, so Edith will go with him to the office to help sort out all the cash. Last week Paul managed to complete the November figures and will finish putting the file together tomorrow as well as make some payments before close of Business. Tuesday and the rest of the week Paul will be off.
We would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas as we remember the birth of our Lord and Saviour.
God Bless and love from us all at this Christmas time.

Last Full week before Christmas
Dear Friends and Family
This is the last full week before Christmas, though I expect everyone can work that one out.
The Children have a full week at school and only break up for Christmas on Friday. So Edith will be busy still with helping out with all the primary class swimming and also help at the Nuru centre.
Paul will be in Dodoma until Wednesday he will then drive back to Dar. He is working on the November figures that he needs to complete by the end of the week. After some set backs last week things are moving along better now and hopefully most of the work will be done before he leaves.
Please pray for a good week for us all and that Paul will manage to get all the work completed in good time. Please also pray for safe travels from Dodoma to Dar.
Thanks for your prayers and support.
Love from us all.

Long Weekend
Dear All
It is hard to believe that we have moved into the last month of 2013. The Christmas tree went up on Saturday after many reminders by the children, we will put more up over the coming weeks.
We are just coming to the end of a long weekend as the children had Thursday and Friday off last week and Paul was able to also take the days off though he did go in on Friday for a couple of hours with Edith to help sort out the cash wages for the National staff.
This week is looking like a fairly standard week at present though on Saturday there is a fun day at the school a sort of Christmas market. Edith will be helping at the school and Nuru centre and the children in School.
Paul will be cleaning up the final bits on the October month end and will then move straight onto the November month end, preparing for his last trip this year to Dodoma, in hopes to finish all the November work.
We pray that you will have a wonderful week.
God bless and love from us all

Short Week this week
Dear Family and Friends
This week's working week will be a short, as the school has a short two day break at the end of the week, so school is only Monday to Wednesday. Edith will continue to help with swimming at the school as well as helping at the handicapped centre as they prepare things to sell at for the Christmas period to help support the work.
Paul travelled back from Dodoma on Saturday he did not have to drive as he was able to travel back with Allan Conrad an ex MAF international staff member who retired and stayed in Tanzania. He was travelling to Dar to pick his brother up who was going to be visiting him. Paul has known since 1997 when they met in the UK. Paul made good progress with the October figures but was not able to get as far as hoped as Frank his deputy was busy for mush of the week helping one of the MAF staff out with a court case relating to a road accident, it was eventually sorted out on Friday. The good point was that Paul managed to spend some time on some old items that needed sorting out and needed a fair amount to sort out, so he made good progress on some of these areas. God willing he will complete the figures this coming week by Wednesday and will then have a couple of days holiday with the family as there is no school.
Please pray that it will be a good week. We have been having a lot of power outages in Tanzania over the past week and it is due to last into this week while they work on repairs at one of the power stations. Please pray that Paul does not get too many interruptions so he can complete the October figures. Finally please pray for a good family time at the end of the week.
Praise for safety and safe travels over the past week.
God bless and love from us all.

Dar and Dodoma
Dear All
Today John-Luke took part in a swimming Gala his first one since joining the school swimming club. Edith also helps with the swimming club as well as the primary swimming.
Paul is in Dodoma this week and will return on Saturday to Dar es Salaam. He is there working on the October figures and is also hoping to tackle a couple of areas that need some more work on them to get them sorted out. We hope to have things very tidy by the end of the year.
Please continue to pray for us as we look to the Lord for our future that he will lead us into the work he wants us to do when we finish this term here in Tanzania.
Please also pray for the programme as this is the last week for us to send into MAF ideas for the coming years for MAF's work in Tanzania.
God Bless you all with all our love

Travelling starts again.
Dear All
We had a great week last week. The special week at school for the children went very well, as they dressed up differently each day. Monday was crazy colour disaster day, Tuesday was Decade Day so dress as someone from the past, Wednesday character day so they would dress as different characters, Thursday was dress as a tourist day and then on Friday the whole family was at the school for International day dressed in the colours of our countries. The school is a very multicultural school and around 35 countries have people at the school. We even had food's from many of the countries for people to try.
This week will be back to a normal week at the school though on Friday John-Luke's class will be taking the Assembly for the school. Edith continues to be involved in helping with all the primary classes and their swimming lessons.
Paul will have most of the week in the Dar office as they try and complete some of the October figures, he will then travel up to Dodoma on Friday after John-Luke's assembly to spend the following week in Dodoma. Please pray for the family as they remain in Dar whilst Paul is away. Edith's 'sister' Lillian has also arrived from Uganda to stay with us for a time so that will be some extra company for the family whilst Paul is away.
Thanks for all your prayers and support.
God Bless and love from us all.

Special week at School
Dear Friends and Family
This week is a special week at school and the children get to dress up in different ways each day and then on Friday it will be International day when the school comes together to celebrate all the different nationalities at the school, there are normally over thirty if I remember correctly. We all go in colours of are countries or national dress, it's normally a great day. There are also displaces of different countries and some have different national foods to try, Edith has the job of organising the English display this year.
Edith is now fairly busy helping at the school with the swimming for all the primary school classes, alone with her helping out at the Nuru centre as they prepare things to sell for Christmas.
Paul has the week in Dar and will be starting work on the October figures. On Monday he has a doctors appointment to see if he still need to take the medication he has been taken or whether he can stop it now. Paul has continued on working on figures for the possible ideas for the future of the programme, we are expecting this to come to an end over the next two weeks when we have to send in out thought to MAF International. Please continue to pray for wisdom for all involved and that we might know the Lord's leading in all of this change that will happen.
Have a wonderful week and God Bless you all.
With all our love and prayers.
Paul, Edith, John-Luke and Gabriella.

Dar and Arusha
Dear All
This week we have had a change around in roles, instead of Paul leaving everyone in Dar, Edith has left everyone in Dar and went to Arusha with some friends for a wedding. She has been having a great time from what we hear, she left on Thursday and should be back in Dar tomorrow.
Last week all went well during the week with the Children at school. John-Luke now has four days a week, with after school activities, two days he is in the swimming club, then another he does Guitar lessons and then also a scrap book club. Gabbie does not have any after school activities, as the school does not have them for the younger classes but at least last week she was able to have a sleep over at a friends house.
Paul was able to complete the September figures last week, so hopefully this week he will be able to work on some bank issues and stock questions that need some deeper investigation. There is also a review of the programme in Tanzania at present and this also giving Paul some extra work as he puts figures together for these different options. Please pray that we will know the Lord's guidance as we go through this process.
Have a good week and God Bless.
Love from us all.

We are still here
Dear All
We are still here! Sorry for not writing before now but things have been rather busy for us. We had hoped to send a news letter out in September but it still sits unfinished at present due to the current work load.
Edith and the children have continued on here in Dar for the past week, but now the school swimming pool has reopened Edith is rather busy helping out on several days with swimming. Edith is also on Thursday travelling to Arusha for a wedding she has been invited to so Paul will stay in Dar with the children, Edith will return on Monday.
Paul returned last week from a week or so in Dodoma mainly working on the September figures. He was not able to complete all the work due to other meetings for himself and Frank his Deputy, also his last day of working in Dodoma was a national holiday so most people were off. Since returning to Dar he has taken three days holiday as last week was the half term break for the children, so we were able to do some things together. So hopefully by the middle of the coming week he will have the September figures completed.
During the days off we were able to spend some time with a friend from Switzerland. Micheal had been over for a couple of months helping out in the hanger in Dodoma and travelled back with Paul to Dar on Tuesday, he was joined by his girl friend Barbara, so we had some time as a family together with them and then on Friday Edith and Paul took them around to see a little bit of Dar including one of the craft markets.
We have to visit the British high commission to try and get some information from them so please pray that this is successful.
Many thanks for your prayers and support, may you all know God's blessing on the coming week.
With love from Paul, Edith, John-Luke and Gabriella.

We have had Rain
Dear All
Though the weather has been warming up this week we have had a couple of days with some rain, this has caused some flooding around particularly down in town.
Edith and the children are doing well and it's so good to see the children enjoying school so much. This Sunday we have a special service, we are saying goodbye to Pastor Len and his wife Marilyn the founding pastor of the church as they return to Canada, we also welcome Pastor Martin as he takes up the position as well as celebrating 7 years of the church being in existence.
Paul has this week in Dar and will travel to Dodoma on Monday to prepare the figures for September.
That is about all for now, thanks for your prayers and support.
God Bless and love from us all.

In Dar for the Week
Dear All
Not a lot of news for you this week. The children continue on at school and are doing well. John-Luke has some after school activities, he doing a scrap book club and is also learning to play the Guitar. Gabriella has just got her old bike back into one piece, we brought it out from England in a case this time.
Edith continues to be busy and will be helping with swimming when the pool is opened again as it has been re tiled and they are having a shade put over it.
Paul is in the Dar office for the next couple of weeks, he has completed the 2014 draft budget and is currently trying to put the August figures together and hopes to have that finished in the next couple of days.
Well we hope you all have a wonderful week.
God Bless and love from us all.

Settling back into Tanzania
Dear Friends and family
Sorry we have not blogged for some time but we have been travelling around. At the end of June we went to South Africa for a couple of weeks holiday, on returning we were back for two weeks but one of those weeks Paul was up in Dodoma. We then travelled to the UK on home assignment returning to Tanzania on the 27th August. We are not sure what happened to our time in the UK it went past rather fast.
The children went back to school on the morning of the 28th August. Since we arrived back at home from the UK at 9.30pm on the 27th it was good going that the children were up and at school by 7am on the 28th August. Edith has managed to unpack and sort things out and will be getting involved with helping at the school again when the swimming pool is back up and running mainly.
On Saturday the 31st August we had some of our supporters visit us here in Dar. Tim, Trish Celeb and Elijah Ffrench had been out on a Tear fund trip here in Tanzania as well as some holiday and they returned to Dar on Friday evening but their flight out was not until Saturday night, so we went with then to a water park and had a lovely day.
Paul was back in the Dar office on the 29th but only for three days before travelling up to Dodoma for almost two weeks he only returned on Friday. It was a rather busy visit as he had to have meetings with the department heads to prepare the 2014 budget and then put it all together and run through it with the programme manager and then also he had to do some of the work on the August accounts which as yet are not complete. The Budget will be sent in tomorrow once Paul gets a couple of further bits of information. Paul was very grateful that Fiona Stevenson was able to visit from the Ashford office to sort out the July accounts and start to prepare the budget pages.
Now hopefully things will settle down a bit and we will be able to get back into posting on the blog each week to keep you all up to date.
May thanks for your prayers and support.
God Bless and love from us all

Travelling Again
Dear All
Sorry for not posting for a time but I have been trying to get on and post but for some reason I could not access the posting section for some days now but today all is OK.
The children are in their last two weeks of school. Gabriella had her class assembly last Friday. They are both doing well and looking forward to the holidays, though they do enjoy being at School. Edith continues to help at the Nuro centre but the school pool is closed for maintenance now so she has not had to help out with the swimming.
Paul travelled today to Dodoma to work on the May figures he will be there until Wednesday. Please pray for safe travels and for safety for the family whilst he is away.
Thanks for your prayers, love and support.
God Bless and love from us all.

This weeks late Posting
This week Paul is up in Dodoma until Friday and Edith and the children down in Dar. Please pray for safety and protection for us all.
Paul was able to send out April accounts last week which actually was only about three weeks later than the March ones going. The team in Dodoma are working really well so this week Paul has been finishing off a few April things and also doing some training with the staff. So it has been great to get things completed so quickly and we hope to improve on that in the coming months.
Thanks for all your prayers and support.

April Almost Complete
Sorry we did not post an up date last week, we planed to do it a couple times but never managed it.
It has been an amazing month with the work and we have almost completed the April work so that the accounts can be prepared. Paul will be travelling to Dodoma next weekend returning on Friday along with a couple of pilots who have some training to do in Dodoma. We will return on the Friday with the pilots and programme manager and I think one of the engineers will also join us so that will make things better for the journey, rather than a 7.5 hour trip on you own. Though the April accounts will hopefully be out there will be a number of things that Paul can only do there to be able to check everything through. Paul is travelling late this month to be able to fit the visit in with a management meeting at the request of the programme manager. This will mean only a short time back before having to return for the May work.
Please pray again for the family to be kept safe while Paul is away and for Edith as she has to do all the running up and down to the school for taking and picking the children. Please also pray for safe travels.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
May you all know the Lord's blessing on your lives.
With love from us all
Paul, Edith, John-Luke and Gabriella.

March finished on with April
Dear All
We do not have a lot of new news this week but do pray for us for good health. Last week Gabriella was off school Thursday and Friday with very high temperatures but she is doing well now. This last month there has been much rain here in Dar es Salaam so the back roads (dirt roads) are not in the best of shape and there is a lot of water laying around, so walking has not been a good idea as most of that is on back roads.
Paul was able to send out the March accounts last week. It was a satisfying experience having completed all the paperwork and filing them in a file. This is the first complete month done, since taking back over as finance manager. Please pray as we now move on with April figures and pray that we may be able to get them out earlier this month.
Please pray for the children at school this week and for Edith and Suzan at home and helping out at school and the Nuru centre.
God Bless and love form us all.

All back in Dar es Salaam
Last week we had some sickness in the family, John-Luke was off school for a couple of days not feeling too well and Paul managed to catch a cold whilst in Dodoma.
We are now all back in Dar es Salaam together. Paul arrived back from Dodoma on Thursday afternoon off a MAF flight so the travelling was a little less tiring. We then had a National holiday here on Friday so the children were off school and we were all able to go out for a trip down to the larger shopping centre about 14km away. Coming back was a good experience of Dar traffic as it took us over 2.5 hours so not so enjoyable. With having done the shopping on Friday we then had Saturday free so went off to have a swim at one of the hotel pools which was a great family time. Today we were at church this morning and then home for the afternoon.
Next week we have another national holiday coming up on the 1st May so will hopefully do something as a family together then as well.
Paul will be in the Dar office and Edith will be going to help him out on Tuesday for a few hours. The March accounts are almost complete and hopefully will be sent out on Tuesday if all goes well. Paul also has the catching up for the Dar office transactions for the past week or so, as well.
Many thanks for your prayers and support we do so appreciate them.
God bless and love from us all.

Still in Dar and Dodoma until Thursday
Dear Family and Friends
This week we continue to be apart until Thursday, at least Paul will make it back in time for the national holiday on Friday so will get some time with the family then.
Edith and the Children continue with life in Dar and School up to Thursday. They have been having a lot of rain over the weekend and this has caused flooding in the garden, so Edith has had to move the young ducks as their area was getting to deep and not draining away. The chicken have been on a little higher ground and have been OK. Gabbie's classroom the other day was flooded due to the rains so not sure if it has happened again yesterday with all the rain. John-Luke classroom is higher up so protected from the water so far. The children continue to be happy in the school which is great and we have been making a number of friends with the parents as well. Edith and Suzan have continued helping out at the Nuru centre.
Paul is in Dodoma and has been making some good progress with the the March work please pray for the next two days that he will be able to complete the last items on the March work so he will then have a day and half before returning on some other issues that need to be looked at. He is grateful to the staff who have made some good progress in trying to complete work on time so that it does not hold things up.
A new engineer has just arrived in Dar and will be travelling by road up to Dodoma on Tuesday with Stewart the Dar base manager who will then return to Dar on Wednesday. Please pray for safe travels for them and that they settle into life in Dodoma quickly. Please also pray for Paul as he returns on a flight on Thursday.
Please pray for the programme as we look into the future of the work here in Tanzania to see what the Lord wants us to do. There are a number of changes with commercial operators and one of our main customers work is finishing in tanzania soon, so we need to review the work we are doing here. We are not here to compete against others but to help out where others are not working, so this makes our Medical and Evangelistic safaris our highest impacting work in the country as we reach areas that others do not go. Please pray for clear guidance for all invovled.
Thank you all for your prayers and support for us as a family, we could not be here without them. May God richly bless you all.
With love from us all.
Paul, Edith, John-Luke and Gabriella.

Dar & Dodoma this Week
Dear All
Last week we said goodbye to Neville and Janet after helping out in finance and other areas for the past six months. We are grateful to them for their willingness to have given us this help and for the many hours of work they have put in. With Neville doing the finance managers work with Paul working on some projects and assisting Neville, we have managed to make some good progress. Neville was also able to train the national staff in Dodoma on a number of new areas of work which we hope will help Paul out with his work in the future.
Though we all were in Dodoma the first week of April that was more of a handover time with Neville for Paul so he will be travelling again there this week on Thursday he will be able to fly this time and not have to drive the 7 hours or so. He will return next Thursday hopefully on a flight again.
As for Edith and the children as school is on they will be remaining in Dar so please pray for safety and protection for them.
Please also pray for good health for us as some of us have had some minor ailments recently.
That is about all the news we have at present so many thanks for all your prayer and support.
God Bless with love form us all.
Paul, Edith, John-Luke and Gabriella.

Back to School
Dear Family and Friends
We had a good week up in Dodoma last week arriving back in Dar on Saturday afternoon. Paul spent the week working with Neville preparing for the hand over that happens tomorrow when Paul take back over as finance manager. Edith and the children were able to visit with some of the children and parents of the Dodoma team who we lived with for a year back in 2010 & 2011.
This week the children will be back at school and Edith will continue to her work with the Nuru Centre and helping at the school. Paul will be back in the Dar office for the week but will have to travel to Dodoma again later in the month to try and finish the March figures off.
We are so grateful for Neville and Janet's help over the past six months, we thank the Lord for their help and support. Neville will be with Paul on Monday and then hopefully have a couple days off before they fly out on Thursday afternoon/evening. Please pray for safe travels for Neville and Janet and pray that the Lord will make their future steps clear.
Please continue to pray for us especially over these next few months as the work load will be rather heavy. God Bless and have a good week.

Happy Easter
Dear Family and Friends
Happy Easter to you all, may you all have some good family time together whilst we remember the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour.
Sorry for not having written for a week or so. When Paul was in Moshi it was not limited Internet connection as thought but no Internet connection. When Paul returned he was not too well for a couple of days we think it was something he eat on the return trip. He then worked Monday, then on Tuesday to Thursday we were able to get away for two nights as a family to a small Island just off the Tanzanian coast about 40km north of Dar. The weather was not the best but that did not matter too much as the temperatures were still high and we had a lovely breeze most of the time. We had some great family time together on the beach and on the veranda of the place we were staying, as well as in the sea, something we would not be doing in the UK at this time of year.
The children had last week and this coming week as holiday so we will all travel up to Dodoma on Monday. Paul will work with Neville to catch up with the work there as Neville's time here in Tanzania comes to an end. We and especially Paul are very gratefully to Neville and Janet for all the help they have given over the past six months, we have made some very good progress and Paul has been able to have a few breaks which would not have happened without the help. Neville and Janet will be leaving Tanzania on the 10th April so Paul will take over the responsibilities of finance manager, for now.
We will return to Dar on Saturday 6th April along with Neville and Janet so they can get their flight out back to the UK. Ruben our IT manager and Dodoma base manager will also come back with us, as he needs to get a flight up to Uganda for some meetings with the other IT people from around the MAF programmes.
Please pray for safe travels for us all and also that Paul and Neville will get some good time together and manage to complete all they will need to complete during their time together.
At the end of April we have a flying contract, that we have been operating for the past two and half years, coming to an end. This works in well for MAF Tanzania as we look to see how this effects us, because for most of the coming months our available planes will be limited because of necessary major maintenance. Our two larger planes (Cessna Caravan's) will both have major avionics upgrades and then one will need to be repainted and the other will be due for an engine change, so this will mean we are running with only one of them available for most of the rest of 2013.
Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Greetings from Dar es Salaam
Dear All
There is not much news to tell you this week. The week ahead looks like a fairly normal week Paul is in the Dar office, the children at School and Edith will be up and down to the school as well.
Next week Paul will be going up to Moshi to attend a Member care course called Sharpening your Interpersonal Skills, a course he has been trying to do for the past two years. It starts on Sunday evening and ends Friday after lunch. Please pray for safe travelling and for protection for the family while Paul is away.
We hope you all have a wonderful week.
God Bless and love form us all.

2012 Accounts Finally Finised
Last week Neville and Paul managed to finish off all the last adjustments for the 2012 financial accounts for the Tanzania Programme and they have been sent into MAF International to be consolidated with the other programmes and support groups within the MAF International family. This week Paul and Neville will review the projects Paul has been working on for the past months and see where we are on them. We have one more month left before Neville returns to the UK and Paul will then again be covering the finance managers work. Having said this MAFI are looking for another person to take on the position of finance manager, who would be based in Dodoma and Paul would continue to work on a new projects supporting the finance manager as needed, but until they have found someone Paul will need to cover the finance managers work. Please pray first that the right person will be found to take up this work and that he will be able to take over as soon as possible and that this last month with Neville we will be able to make some more progress in sort things out.
The children continue to do well at school. I am not sure that we have mentioned it before but Gabriella was elected joint President to represent her class on the student council. Edith continue to help out with swimming and was called in for extra help last week with the secondary students.
We are currently booking out flights for home assignment and we are currently expecting to be flying to the UK on 19th July and returning to Tanzania on 27th August. Please pray that all will work out with these flights. We now unfortunately can not make a direct flight from Tanzania to England as British Airways (BA) will stop flying to Dar es Salaam at the end of March. We are expecting to now possible use Swiss Airlines as we are currently entering into an agreement with the in a similar to what we did have with BA.
We we hope and pray that you all will have a wonderful week, may you know God's blessings on your lives.
God Bless and love from us all

A visit to Rufiji
It's hard to believe that we have almost come to the end of February.
The children went back to school on Wednesday after their mid term break, we had a good couple of days off together.
This week is the last week for Paul and Neville to complete any further adjustments to the the December year end figures. They both have a couple of areas to work on so please pray there are not too many interruptions.
Last week Paul was asked on Thursday to travel with Stewart (Dar base manager) to the Rufiji area on Friday. This was to attend some meetings with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) and staff from Mchukwi hospital visiting the Regional Medical Officer of the Rufiji District at a place called Utete. The reason for the meetings was to discuss some plans of extending our Medical flights in the district which currently have involved YWAM but now Mchukwi hospital have agreed to help as well. It was a long day and Paul set off with Stewart at 5am and eventually returned after 9pm, the drive was about 240km and took about 4.5 hours. The meetings went well and we have the backing of the District Medical officer. We were then asked to go and see the Regional Executive officer and the Regional Commissioner they were not at their offices but we were able to find them together fairly near and were able to explain about the work. So now we have their agreement we will hope to soon extend the medical work within the area within a couple of months when the final details have been sorted out.
We hope you all have a wonderful week.

Mid term Hoilday
We have been experiencing some Internet problem this past week so today is our first day back on line so sorry we have not posted before.
Monday and Tuesday were the mid term holiday for the Children so Paul took the two days off work. Tomorrow we are back to normal with School and work and Edith will be back at the school helping with the swimming too.
The weather remains to be rather hot here and with the power keep going off this is not helping as the humidity really gets to you, without fans running. Please pray for strength to keep going or some cooler weather!
That is about all the news for this week. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
God Bless and love from us all.

Time for another Trip
There has been a lot of travelling for members of our house hold this past and coming week. Lillian returned to Uganda last Friday and Suzan arrived back from Uganda on Thursday. Then today we had some good friends and supports of our pass through Dar, Richard and Andrea had been on an Island of the Tanzanian coast called Mafia Island, they had a local flight to the Dar airport but had a few hours spare before their international flight so we were able to meet up and have something to eat together before they had to return to the airport for the return to the UK.
Last week John-Luke and Gabriella enjoyed themselves at school and Edith was able to go and help in Gabriella's class for one day whilst the teacher was off with a sick son. Edith was also helping with the swimming for a few days. Paul was mostly in the Dar office all week though he had to go to the Doctors on Monday for some blood test and then back to town to another clinic for an ultrasound scan, as a follow up on the blood test results. He will now have to return for further ultrasound checks on Tuesday and then go to the doctors with the results and see what they have to say.
On Wednesday Paul will once again travel up to Dodoma and will stay until the following Wednesday, please pray for safe travelling and for safety for the family whilst he is away.
We hope and trust you all have a wonderful week and God bless you all.
With Love from Paul, Edith, John-Luke and Gabriella.

A Day out in Dar
Dear Friends and Family
Last week was a good week for us all. There was a National Holiday on Friday and the children had the day off school so Paul took the day off as well in exchange for two weekend days driving to Dodoma and back. So we all went out to a water park for the day, and had fun in the water and on some slides, it was a typical hot and sunny day, so being around and in water was a good idea. When we came out to the car which was mostly shaded it was 35c outside not inside so a rather warm day.
The rest of the week was fairly typical. Edith and Lillian were helping at the school on some of the days and Paul was in the office most of the time, though he had a dentist appointment on the Monday and had to take Edith and Lillian on the Tuesday for an appointment part way down town. Paul has been working on some of the year end things with Neville and we should have the first draft out by tomorrow and complete all the work before the end of the month. So this week will be mostly taken up with similar work to ensure that we get done on time if possible. Please pray that all will go well and that we do not get too many other distractions as the week progresses.
Please continue to pray for us to continue to have the strength to keep going in this hot weather, when we are not at the water park! it does rather sap your strength.
Please pray for Lillian as she returns to Uganda this Friday and looks to what she will do next, she is hoping to be able to do some more study.
Please pray for wisdom for us as we consider our future, we are looking to the Lord to know what His will is. We have some things that we need to get sorted out in the coming years, so are praying and talking to MAF about the future, more about this when anything is known. This is nothing that is going to happen soon and we currently expect to be here until the end of June 2014.
God Bless and much love to you all.
Paul, Edith, John-Luke and Gabriella.

Back in Hot Sticky Dar
Dear All
Last week Paul went to Dodoma to work with Neville. He was able to drive the New MAF minibus (Second hand but New to MAF) It's a 15 seater but we have removed some seats so that we could carry freight as well as passengers. Paul was able to pick Neville and his wife Janet up at the airport as well as three other family members of National staff and a voluntary from Switzerland as well as some freight of aircraft parts and luggage so a van load. ON his return he brought back Ruben, Sarah and family our IT Manager as his car had problems and they needed to get to Dar along with two other Swiss voluntaries who had spent four months working with us in Dodoma plus a van load of luggage. We also picked up 100 metal model planes which had been made with MAF colours for MAF staff. Paul had a good week working with Neville and they managed to get a fair amount done.
Edith and the children were busy with the house and school things as well through the week.
Please pray for us as we are finding it hard to keep going with this heat which is really sapping our energy levels.
God Bless and thanks for your prayers and support.
Love from us all.

Back to School
Dear All
This week the Children went back to school.
Paul went back to the office last week only to find the power had been cut off. It took two trips down to the electricity board office to eventually arrange for the power to be turned back on Friday afternoon, so most of the time was spent working from home. This week everything is working well in the office now. Paul will travel up to Dodoma on Saturday with Neville and his wife Janet, who God willing will arrive from the UK Saturday morning, Paul will travel back the following Saturday.
On the work side we are trying to sort out the end of year accounts as well as keeping the day to day things running and when Neville is back Paul will start again on the project work.
Edith has been sorting things out at home with Lillian.
Please pray for the family while Paul is in Dodoma.
That's about all for this week.
God Bless and love from us all.
