Dear Family and Friends
This week we continue to be apart until Thursday, at least Paul will make it back in time for the national holiday on Friday so will get some time with the family then.
Edith and the Children continue with life in Dar and School up to Thursday. They have been having a lot of rain over the weekend and this has caused flooding in the garden, so Edith has had to move the young ducks as their area was getting to deep and not draining away. The chicken have been on a little higher ground and have been OK. Gabbie's classroom the other day was flooded due to the rains so not sure if it has happened again yesterday with all the rain. John-Luke classroom is higher up so protected from the water so far. The children continue to be happy in the school which is great and we have been making a number of friends with the parents as well. Edith and Suzan have continued helping out at the Nuru centre.
Paul is in Dodoma and has been making some good progress with the the March work please pray for the next two days that he will be able to complete the last items on the March work so he will then have a day and half before returning on some other issues that need to be looked at. He is grateful to the staff who have made some good progress in trying to complete work on time so that it does not hold things up.
A new engineer has just arrived in Dar and will be travelling by road up to Dodoma on Tuesday with Stewart the Dar base manager who will then return to Dar on Wednesday. Please pray for safe travels for them and that they settle into life in Dodoma quickly. Please also pray for Paul as he returns on a flight on Thursday.
Please pray for the programme as we look into the future of the work here in Tanzania to see what the Lord wants us to do. There are a number of changes with commercial operators and one of our main customers work is finishing in tanzania soon, so we need to review the work we are doing here. We are not here to compete against others but to help out where others are not working, so this makes our Medical and Evangelistic safaris our highest impacting work in the country as we reach areas that others do not go. Please pray for clear guidance for all invovled.
Thank you all for your prayers and support for us as a family, we could not be here without them. May God richly bless you all.
With love from us all.
Paul, Edith, John-Luke and Gabriella.
